LAS VEGAS — Today, the Clark County appointed James C. Chrisley as the next Director of Aviation for the Clark County Department of Aviation (CCDOA). Chrisley’s appointment marks a seamless transition in leadership following the retirement of CCDOA Director Rosemary Vassiliadis on September 12, who has held that position since 2013.

Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) is expanding its special assistance program by launching a new pilot program with the Aira ASL app, offering hearing impaired travelers live, on-demand American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation while at the airport. Arriving ahead of the 2025 DeafNation World Expo & Conference in Las Vegas, this program will welcome thousands of deaf and hard of hearing visitors with a more accessible and confident travel experience.
